We hope you all had an enjoyable Labor Day weekend!
All the students running for Parliament did an awesome job. There were almost 30 student speakers today. It was clear students prepared and practiced for this opportunity. The classmates voted and the top 8 candidates will represent 5th grade.
In Literacy we will be starting book clubs. Ask your kids what book they will be reading.
The Fun Run will be Friday, September 15th. Spirit Week will be the 11th through the 15th.
Monday: Patriotic Day; wear red, white, and blue
Tuesday: Crazy sock and hat day
Wednesday: Sports team day
Thursday: BFH Spirit wear
Friday (Fun Run Day): Students will receive a t-shirt that morning.
Please practice math facts continually with your students.
