The Bunk with the Beast online waiver has an incorrect date of May 23, 2017. Choose this as the date and at the end of the sign up it will ask you to put the date in. Please put in the actual May 23, 2018 date. It is a typo and the zoo is aware. It will still work to sign up. You can put in jlewis49@cherrycreekschools.org as the organizer email. No problem if you put in your homeroom teacher email.
We are collecting 5th grade baby pictures. Please choose one photo of your child as a toddler (ages 2-5) for the fifth-grade slide show during continuation. It will show how much your child has grown from then until now. It needs to be a photo file, such as .jpeg, .png, .gif., .bmp…Please email pictures directly to Mr. Johnson at kjohnson163@cherrycreekschools.org by Friday, May 4th. Use the subject line of your child's first and last name. Thank you kindly!
Our Fifth-grade music performance is next Thursday, April 26th at 1:45 and 6:30. Be sure your child brings black clothing for both performances.
Spirit Week to raise money for Tayler Ellison is next week. If we raise enough money Mr. Gleason will shave his head!
Tuesday - Multiples day ($1 dress like friends/twinsies)
Wednesday - Teacher/Student swap ($1 kids dress like teachers and teachers like students)
Thursday - Neon day ($1 dress to glow)
Friday - Crazy hair or hat day and crazy socks! ($1)

Tayler's Run 5k Run/Walk
9:00 am start for the 5K starting at Black Forest Hills Elem.
In January Tayler started having severe jaw pain, and after consulting her oncologist, an MRI was conducted. They located a malignant tumor in her jaw, and determined it was a bone cancer called osteosarcoma. The tumor is isolated and Tayler has had two surgeries to remove the tumor. She has begun a regimen which will include both in-patient chemo treatments, blood transfusions, and rest weeks. These treatments will continue for 9-12 months. We are doing this 5k to honor Tayler, the warrior, and raise money to help with the family's medical bills. Thank you so much for your support! #dontmesswithawarrior
