We have a busy week ahead of us! Just a reminder, there are no Valentine parties or boxes during the regular school day in fifth grade. If students want to bring cards for their entire class, they will have the last five minutes of the school day to exchange with classmates in homeroom. Each class has approximately 32 students.
Our field trip to International Towne is this Friday. Please send your student with a completely disposable sack lunch. We will have no way for the kids to buy food if they do not bring lunch. If you have not paid for your student yet, please do so using the following link:

After much discussion as a team, Mrs. Shimeall will continue to be out of school due to health issues. The fifth-grade team and the front office are working together to coordinate a consistent substitute until Mrs. Shimeall returns. We're trying hard to respect her privacy so she can recuperate as quickly as possible.

Fox Ridge Middle School will be hosting their Elective Fair next Thursday, February 21st from 5-7pm over at FRMS. Student elective forms are due to their homeroom teachers by the following Thursday, February 28th.
Spring Picture Day is this Thursday, so please do not send your student in something green!
Please remember that there is no school for students on Monday (2/18) and Tuesday (2/19) next week.
